(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 28, Cua Lo City Party Committee organized a summary of the activities of reporters, part-time lecturers, internal information, social work collaborators, the purchase and use of Party newspapers and magazines in 2017 and the deployment of tasks in 2018.

In 2017, the activities of part-time lecturers, internal information, social work collaborators, the purchase and use of Party newspapers and magazines achieved many important results, contributing to the dissemination, propaganda and education of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, strongly encouraging emulation movements in labor production, study and work, actively contributing to socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, Party building, government and mass organizations from the town to the grassroots level.

In addition to training courses for cadres and party members, the reporter's activities also organized many classes for union members and members and widely propagated among the people. During the year, the reporter's meetings were held periodically 12 times/12 months, with many innovations in content, form and quality. The breakthrough content in 2017 was the establishment of 4 more ward news clubs. Up to now, 7/7 wards have had news and law clubs, operating 2-4 times/year, maintaining quality community cultural club activities.

Internal informationThe Town Department published 10 issues, including 2 special issues celebrating the Party, celebrating the Year of the Rooster and a special photo magazine of Cua Lo tourism "Convergence and Shine" with beautiful form, rich content, ensuring timely and accurate information provision to serve the activities of the Party cell and the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels. The team of social opinion collaborators was established, operating regulations were issued, professional training was participated in, meetings were held, and tasks were deployed. Up to now, they have been put into order and initially effective.

The work of ordering and using Party newspapers and magazines was carried out seriously. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee promptly directed the Propaganda Department together with the Distribution Department of Nghe An Newspaper to urge the subordinate units and grassroots party organizations to strictly implement Directive 11 on ordering and using Party newspapers and magazines, so the results basically met the requirements. In addition, the coordination between the City Party Committee Post Office, the Propaganda Department and Nghe An Newspaper was also relatively close, so the number of newspapers distributed in 2017 was more stable than in previous years, there was no phenomenon of cutting newspapers during the summer.

In 2017, Cua Lo City Party Committee had 3 units awarded by Nghe An Newspaper for their outstanding achievements in purchasing and using Party newspapers, namely Nghi Thu and Nghi Thuy Ward Party Committees and the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department (a unit that advises and directs the purchasing and using of Party newspapers). In addition, many units purchased beyond the target and used Party newspapers and magazines more and more effectively, such as: Cua Lo College of Commerce and Tourism Party Committee, Nursing Center for People with Merits; Industrial and Commercial Bank, etc.

On this occasion, Cua Lo City Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in internal information activities; 2 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in reporting and part-time lecturer activities in 2017.
