Political Department of Military Region 4: Deploying tasks in 2014

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 8, 2014, the Political Department of Military Region 4 held a conference to deploy tasks for 2014. Major General Vo Van Viet - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region attended and gave a speech to direct the conference.

In 2013, the Political Bureau advised and closely directed the dissemination and implementation of Resolutions 4, 6, and 7 of the Central Committee (11th tenure). Well organized the honoring and commendation of advanced models in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; summarized 8 years of implementing Resolution 51 of the Politburo, Resolution 513 of the Central Military Commission... achieving the set goals and requirements.

In 2014, the unit continued to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directives and resolutions of the above, closely following the situation and tasks of the Military Region's armed forces, advising, directing and carrying out tasks well, focusing on: well organizing activities to celebrate major holidays of the State and the army, the Military Region's Armed Forces Emulation Congress for the period 2009 - 2014 and towards the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces' tradition day. Continue to synchronously implement groups of solutions for Party building according to Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (11th term) associated with effectively studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; focusing on making breakthroughs in building "comprehensive, in-depth, exemplary and practical" agencies and units.

Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2013.

At the Conference, authorized by the President and the Prime Minister, Major General Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Policy Department; Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to the Military Region's Policy Nursing Team; Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of National Defense to 10 individuals and Nursing Team 41 - Hue.

The Political Bureau awarded 8 Victory Units, 18 groups with the title of advanced unit, 36 emulation soldiers and many groups and individuals were awarded in other forms. Also on this occasion, the Political Bureau launched and signed the 2014 emulation covenant with the theme "Emulation for 3 Victory Peaks" associated with the implementation of the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
