Department of Economics - Ministry of National Defense presents charity houses in Quynh Luu district

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of July 27, at An Hoa commune (Quynh Luu), the Department of Economics - Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district to organize a ceremony to hand over gratitude houses to policy families with especially difficult circumstances in the district.

Attending were Colonel Phan Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Economic Department - Ministry of National Defense.

Colonel Phan Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Economic Department - Ministry of National Defense presented the decision on giving gratitude houses to policy families.

On this occasion, 5 policy households in 5 communes and towns were awarded gratitude houses, including: Mr. Ho Viet Thung's family, block 3, Cau Giat town, who is currently worshiping 2 martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the anti-French and anti-American wars; Vu Van Trieu - 4/4 disabled soldier in village 7, Quynh Hung commune; Phan Thi Duong, wife of martyr Nguyen Quoc Su in Tan Thinh village, An Hoa commune; Nguyen Thi Chuc, mother of martyr Ho Duc Cao in Hoc Van village, Quynh Bang commune; Tran Ngoc Xin - 4/4 disabled soldier in Phu Yen village, Quynh Thuan commune.

With the support of 70 million VND/house from the Economic Department - Ministry of National Defense, along with the help and additional capital from brothers and relatives, the above households have started to build new houses.

Quynh Luu District People's Committee presented gifts to families receiving support to build houses on this occasion.

Up to now, after more than 2 months of construction, all 5 houses have been completed and put into use. This is a practical and meaningful activity of the Department of Economics - Ministry of National Defense for policy families, with meritorious services to the revolution in Quynh Luu district. Thereby, creating more motivation for them to continue to strive in life, actively developing the economy to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district also presented 5 gifts to 5 households, each worth 1 million VND and the District Military Command presented 500,000 VND each.
