The Department of Emulation and Reward of Laos visited and worked in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 4, a delegation from the Department of Emulation and Rewards of the Lao PDR, led by Mr. Dia Lo - Chia Va - Director, visited and worked with the Central Emulation and Rewards Committee and the Emulation and Rewards Committee of Nghe An province.
Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Do Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Emulation and Commendation of provinces and centrally-run cities; Do Ngoc Toan - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Central Emulation and Commendation Board; Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Head of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board; Thai Hong Thanh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade NguyenThanh Nhan - Head of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board welcomed the members of the Lao Emulation and Reward Department's delegation to visit and work in Nghe An, and at the same time introduced an overview of the results of the implementation of the tasks of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board.
Accordingly, in the period of 2015 - 2018, Nghe An province focused on thoroughly grasping and implementing Directive No. 34-CT/TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and commendation work; Law on Emulation and Commendation; Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation and Government Decrees guiding their implementation.
The Provincial Emulation and Reward Committee has proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents directing, guiding and implementing emulation movements and reward work to successfully complete the province's socio-economic targets.
In particular, focusing on implementing 3 major emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister: "Nghe An joins hands to build new rural areas" in the period of 2016 - 2020; "Nghe An enterprises integrate and develop"; "Nghe An joins hands for the poor - no one is left behind" and other patriotic emulation movements launched by the province.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged experiences in organizing emulation movements and implementing reward policies, focusing on important and urgent issues related to the professional tasks of the industry, and experiences in solving difficulties and problems to find solutions for practical application.
Thanking the warm and sincere welcome of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board, Comrade Dia Lo - Chia Va - Director of the Emulation and Reward Department of Lao PDR hopes that this visit will further strengthen the affection, solidarity and special friendship between the two sectors in charge of emulation and reward work.

At the end of the working session, the Head of the Emulation and Rewards Committee of Nghe An affirmed that, along with the special relationship between the two States of Vietnam and Laos, over the years, the relationship between the Emulation and Rewards Committee of Nghe An province and the Emulation and Rewards Department of Lao PDR has been increasingly consolidated.
On May 22, 2012, the Central Emulation and Rewards Committee and the Emulation and Rewards Department of the Lao PDR signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which includes the exchange of experiences in emulation and rewards between the two States of Vietnam and Laos; each year, they will take turns sending a delegation to visit and work in the other country.
Through the exchange, the two sides learned and shared many experiences to better advise on emulation and reward work with the Lao government and further strengthen the comradeship and friendship between the two governments and the emulation and reward industry.
