Lang Vac archaeological site in Nghia Hoa commune, Thai Hoa town is one of the cradles of the ancient Vietnamese people and was recognized by the State as a National Archaeological Site in 1999. Through many large-scale excavations, many valuable artifacts have been discovered and brought to museums. However, during the process of working, plowing, digging ponds,... a part of the people of Nghia Hoa commune living near the site discovered and kept many artifacts of great scientific value.
The antiques were donated by the people.
Realizing that, the Management Board of Lang Vac Archaeological Site has mobilized people to voluntarily donate antiquities to bring to the exhibition room for convenient management. After a period of launching, many households in the commune have volunteered to bring their family artifacts to the Management Board. Currently, the Mobilization Board has collected more than 150 artifacts and antiquities of all kinds such as axe blades, knife blades, bronze bowls, porcelain bowls, bracelets, anklets, earrings, etc. Notably, among them, there are many artifacts that are determined to be over 3,000 years old.
