Estimated local landline call rate is 200 VND/minute
That is the information stated in the Draft Circular regulating public telecommunications service prices recently announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Accordingly, the expected price for domestic landline telephone service is 200 VND/minute, monthly subscription fee is 20,000 VND/month or 667 VND/day.
Specifically, for universal telecommunications services, the draft stipulates that the monthly subscription fee for local landline telephone services is 20,000 VND/month or 667 VND/day, and the communication fee is 200 VND/minute. In which, the fee calculation method is: 01 minute + 01 minute.
Regarding the price of Internet access services with a download speed of 256kb/s or higher, the draft stipulates that at the subscriber's home, the subscription fee is 24,000 VND/month, the traffic fee is 45 VND/Mbyte; and at the public telecommunications service point, the service fee is determined by the enterprise itself but not exceeding 455 VND/access.
Regarding the price of telecommunications services on the private telecommunications network serving the State's direction and management of natural disaster prevention and control, the draft stipulates: Telecommunications enterprises providing telecommunications services are required to pay the costs that telecommunications enterprises must pay to foreign partners (if any); maintenance and operation costs of the private telecommunications network serving the direction and management of search, rescue, and natural disaster prevention and control according to the norms approved by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Regarding the service of broadcasting disaster forecast bulletins, receiving and transmitting distress signals, and search and rescue at sea, the draft clearly states: Telecommunication enterprises providing mandatory telecommunication services are required to pay maintenance and operation costs for broadcasting disaster forecast bulletins, receiving and transmitting distress signals, and search and rescue at sea according to the norms approved by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
For emergency telecommunication services, the draft proposes to exempt users from fees. The fee for emergency telecommunication services paid to the telecommunication enterprise providing them is: 415 VND/minute…
