Bank robbery with fake gun
Authorities and local people successfully controlled two young men who broke into the bank to rob.

Accordingly, at 4:10 p.m. on March 2, at a bank branch in Ha Tien, address 37, Lam Son Street, Dong Ho Ward, Ha Tien City, Kien Giang Province, two men on a motorbike arrived in front of the transaction office. Then, two young men still wearing helmets, masks on their faces and backpacks entered.

When arriving at the transaction desk, encountering an employee working, one of the two subjects suddenly pulled out a black object (suspected to be a gun) from his backpack with the intention of threatening the bank employee to rob. Many bank employees panicked, shouted and ran away. After discovering the incident, the bank security guard shouted and fired 3 warning shots (a rubber bullet gun).
The two suspects then abandoned their motorbikes and ran onto Nguyen Than Hien Street, where they were surrounded and captured by local residents. A local resident at the scene said the two suspects were very young, one wearing a white shirt and the other wearing a red striped shirt. While fleeing, the two suspects fought back fiercely, and one of them used a black object (suspected to be a gun) to attack the pursuers, but was subdued and the evidence was confiscated.
Upon receiving the report of the incident, Ha Tien City Police quickly arrived at the scene along with local residents to control the two suspects, collect evidence, extract camera footage, and take witness statements for investigation.
Bank staff then counted and initially determined that there was no loss of money or other assets at the transaction office. Through initial verification, it was determined that the two subjects, Trinh Dinh Phu and Trinh Dinh Hao, both reside in Thuan Yen commune, Ha Tien city./.
