Nghe An Newspaper veterans offer incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Truong Son cemetery

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on July 21 and 22, the delegation of Veterans of Nghe An Newspaper came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Cemetery, Road 9 Cemetery and Quang Tri Citadel; and visited Gio Linh Vinh Moc tunnel.



Offering flowers and incense at Truong Son National Cemetery, Road 9 Cemetery and burning incense at the graves of martyrs nationwide, martyrs from Nghe An, the veterans of Nghe An Newspaper expressed their gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who devoted their entire youth to the independence and unification of the Fatherland today. Forever remembering the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs who died for the country to have peace, the veterans in particular and the collective of Nghe An Newspaper in general vow to continue to strive to build a strong collective and bring the newspaper in Uncle Ho's homeland to develop to a higher level to be worthy of the sacrifices of generations of fallen fathers and brothers. Truong Son National Cemetery and Road 9 are the eternal resting places of tens of thousands of heroes and martyrs; also the place to honor, the shining symbol of the revolutionary will and the spirit of steadfast struggle for independence and freedom of the entire Vietnamese nation.

Before that, the delegation also came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Quang Tri Citadel with admiration for the brave fighting spirit throughout the 81 historical days and nights of our army and people. Also during the pilgrimage to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, the delegation of Nghe An Newspaper veterans also visited the National Historical and Cultural Relic - Vinh Moc Tunnels, Vinh Thach Commune, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province.
