Former NATO adviser warns US military aid package may not go to Ukraine
(Baonghean.vn) - Former NATO advisor Jacques Beau believes that the US military aid package may not reach Ukraine.

According to RIA Novosti news agency on April 24, NATO advisor Colonel Jacques Beau - a former Swiss intelligence officer - said that the money allocated by the US House of Representatives to Ukraine may not reach Kiev.
"If we look at this financial aid package, we will see that it mainly benefits the US military-industrial complex. This means that the money from this aid package will not go to Ukraine, but will remain in the US first of all with the aim of promoting the production of more weapons," said Colonel Jacques Beau.
According to the former NATO adviser, this explains why US foreign policy has always aimed to "support one side and the other side" in conflicts around the world.
At the same time, Colonel Jacques Beau noted that due to the delay in providing weapons to Kiev by the Western allies, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently suffered significant losses. Therefore, according to Beau, the amount of aid that the West is now ready to transfer to Ukraine cannot reverse the situation on the front.
"Russia is showing consistent success and this trend is increasing, because Ukraine's capabilities are now much weaker. Ukraine does not even have enough manpower to operate the equipment," the former NATO advisor commented.
The Ukraine aid bill was passed by the US Senate on April 23. President Joe Biden announced that he would sign it into law immediately so that "the United States can quickly send weapons and equipment to Ukraine to meet their urgent needs on the battlefield."
