Former director and staff of the vehicle inspection center received bribes of more than 1.8 billion
Luong Minh Tu - former Director of Inspection Center 60-04D and other employees were proposed by the investigation agency to be prosecuted for accepting bribes of more than 1.8 billion VND.
On December 12, Dong Nai Provincial Police issued an investigation conclusion requestingprosecute11 defendants for the crime of "giving and receiving bribes" occurred at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center 60-04D (Tan Bien Ward, Bien Hoa City).

Accordingly, Luong Minh Tu (43 years old, former Director of Inspection Center 60-04D), 2 former Deputy Directors Le Son Tuyen (52 years old) and Tran Duc Duy (43 years old) were also proposed to be prosecuted for the crime of "Receiving bribes".
In addition, 6 other defendants, former employees of this inspection center, including Le Van Loc, Nguyen Thanh Hai, Le Khanh Phuong, Pham Phu Giao, Phan Huu Luong and Dao Minh Hien, were also prosecuted for the above crime.
Two defendants were prosecuted for bribery, including Vo Chi Giang (former employee of Saigon Driving Training Center), and Le Tin Trung (former Director of Vy Khang Transport Service Trading Company Limited).

According to the investigation conclusion, the defendants confessed to receiving money from vehicle owners who came to the center for inspection to ignore inspection errors that did not meet technical safety and environmental protection standards.
In this way, in 2022, the defendants received money from car owners from 60 to 500 million VND, with a total amount of more than 1.8 billion VND.
According to the investigation conclusion, the investigation agency determined that in 2022, Vo Chi Giang bribed inspector Le Van Loc with nearly 40 million VND. Le Trung Tin transferred more than 4 million VND to Le Van Loc to ignore errors in vehicle inspection.
