(Baonghean.vn) - After many hours of searching, Coast Guard ship 3005 approached the distressed ship, successfully rescued 8 crew members and towed the distressed fishing boat safely to shore.

At 9:50 p.m. on December 5, Coast Guard ship 3005 under the Coast Guard Region 1 Command received an order from the Command Center to deploy forces to search and rescue fishing boat NA 93173 TS, owned by Mr. Hoang Van Tien (residing in Hamlet 1, Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District), which had engine failure in Nghe An waters.
After many hours of searching at sea, Coast Guard ship 3005 approached the distressed ship, performed rescue work, rescued the crew members and towed the distressed fishing boat to Lach Quen fishing port.

At 2:30 p.m. on December 6, Coast Guard ship 3005 handed over the crew and fishing boat to Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station.
