Former US intelligence officer: Ukraine conflict enters final stage
(Baonghean.vn) - Former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the conflict in Ukraine is entering its final stage and will end with Russia controlling Odessa.

According to Ria Novosti, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with YouTube channel Ask The Inspector that the conflict in Ukraine will end with Russia controlling Odessa.
"Russia has enough troops to destroy the Ukrainian armed forces. That's what they're doing now. I don't believe that Russia will be able to end the conflict without controlling Odessa or the Black Sea coast, and without cutting off Ukraine's access to the sea. Because Kiev and its Western allies are using them to threaten Crimea and Sevastopol," said former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
Expert Ritter also believes that the conflict in Ukraine is entering its final stage, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces will fight to the end, out of desperation and without any more aid from the West.
According to Ria Novosti, the bill allocating billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine and Israel was not passed, after a procedural vote in the US Senate.
Earlier, the Democrats had proposed to end the debate and send the bill to the Senate for a vote. On December 5, US President Joe Biden asked Congress to provide $106 billion to help Kiev and Tel Aviv, but lawmakers refused to comply with his request.
The Washington Post, citing conversations with more than 30 senior officials from Ukraine, the United States and European countries, showed that Ukraine's failures in the counteroffensive have led Kiev and Washington to begin blaming each other for mistakes in strategic calculations.
