Cuong was hit by a right cart fork as big as his calf from the front, piercing through his abdomen and back 80cm. People had to use a chainsaw to cut the cart fork to take the victim to Quy Chau District General Hospital for emergency treatment, but due to the serious injuries, the hospital transferred him directly to a higher level.

When Le Van Cuong was first admitted to the hospital, he had a car jack stuck through his stomach.

Currently, Cuong has overcome the critical stage and is being treated at the Department of Surgery, Nghe An General Hospital.
