Successfully rescued 13 Nghe An fishermen drifting at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - At 11:00 p.m. on April 23, after many hours at sea, 13 Nghe An fishermen on fishing boat NA 90773 TS were successfully rescued by SAR 411 and brought safely to Nghi Son port (Thanh Hoa).

Previously, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center received information that fishing boat NA 90773 TS encountered big waves and strong winds, causing the boat's engine to break down and lose control.
There were 13 fishermen on board, led by Mr. Pham Van Dung, a resident of Quynh Long Commune, Quynh Luu District. The ship was located about 90 nautical miles northeast of Hon Ngu Island (Nghe An). At that time, the ship was in an area with bad weather, strong seas of level 5-6, gusts above level 7, water flooded into the ship's hold, endangering the lives of the fishermen.
Faced with the above emergency situation, the Center mobilized maritime rescue ship numbered SAR 411 for emergency rescue.
After more than 10 hours of sailing through stormy seas, at 6:00 a.m. on April 23, maritime rescue ship SAR 411 discovered the location of the distressed fishing boat NA 90773 TS.
The rescue team quickly approached the ship in distress, provided health care to 13 fishermen, towed the ship and all crew members back to shore, and handed over the crew members to local authorities.
