Former Ukrainian President Porosheno indicted for forging passport
The State Investigation Bureau of Ukraine has opened a case against former President Piotr Poroshenko for using a fake passport during a trip to the Maldives in 2018, Andrei Portnov, a former deputy head of the presidential administration under Yanukovych, said.

Earlier, the Director of the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine, Roman Truba, announced that the State Bureau is investigating 11 criminal cases against Poroshenko and other senior officials.
Mr Portnov later said that the State Investigation Bureau of Ukraine had opened a new case against Poroshenko for theft in the army, as well as former head of the National Bank Valerya Gontareva and officials of Ukroboronprom.
"Today, the State Bureau of Investigation has initiated a criminal case under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," Portnov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Accordingly, former President of Ukraine, Mr. Poroshenko PA, committed acts of forgery of documents and used fake documents to illegally transfer across the state border of Ukraine.
