(Baonghean.vn) - Although he still has more than 2 years left on his contract, it is likely that the former SLNA player will leave Hoa Xuan Stadium right after this season ends.

In the early stages of this season, Hung “crossbar” was always used by coach Le Huynh Duc in the position of center back. However, in recent times, Pham Manh Hung’s familiar position is on the bench. Up to this point in V.League 2019, the central defender from Nghe An has only played in 10 matches. This is a very modest number compared to the talent of the former U23 Vietnam player.

“Everything at SHB Da Nang is great, except that I don’t get to play football regularly to contribute more to the team. Like many other professional players, I don’t like sitting around and getting paid. If SHB Da Nang no longer needs me, I will have to find a new place to develop my career,” the central defender born in 1993 shared with Nghe An Newspaper.

It is known that the contract between Pham Manh Hung and SHB Da Nang is for 3 years. Currently, the two sides have only gone nearly 1/3 of the way. The player wearing the number 68 shirt also added: "In the coming time, I will work with the Board of Directors and the Coaching Board about my future. Anyway, I still hope to continue wearing the SHB Da Nang shirt in the next season as per the signed contract."

In case Pham Manh Hung and SHB Da Nang cannot find a common voice, there are many teams ready to welcome this player. One of them is Hai Phong, the team that pursued Pham Manh Hung last season. With proven talent, Hung "crossbar" will be a "hot item" in the transfer market, if he leaves the Han River team.
