(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Nghe An Market Management Department, the "Saniyo - Made in Japan" double infrared cooker of Toan Cau Trading and Import-Export Company Limited, which was sold at BigC Vinh Supermarket, no longer exists.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Deputy Head of the Market Management Department said: After receiving information in Nghe An Newspaper No. 9790 published on April 3, 2014 reflecting "Toan Cau LLC Showroom: Cheating consumers in BigC Vinh Supermarket", the department's leaders issued Official Letter No. 135/QLTT-NVXL dated April 4, 2014 on resolving the incident reported by Nghe An Newspaper. In Official Letter No. 135, the department's leaders assigned Market Management Team No. 3 to manage the area to conduct an inspection at the business location of Toan Cau Trading and Import-Export LLC at BigC Vinh Supermarket.

On the morning of April 8, 2014, the Market Management Team inspected the Showroom of Toan Cau Trading and Export Company Limited. According to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Lam - Team Leader, at the time of inspection, Toan Cau Trading and Import-Export Company Limited had full documents and procedures; the items for sale at the booths were only Bigsun brand single infrared cookers (4 units) made in Vietnam, not Saniyo - Madein Japan brand double infrared cookers as reported by Nghe An Newspaper. Market Management Team No. 3 temporarily detained 4 single infrared cookers to verify the origin and quality of the goods. Mr. Trinh Ngoc Lam said: "I believe that after Nghe An Newspaper reported, Toan Cau Trading and Import-Export Company Limited hid all the Saniyo - Madein Japan brand double infrared cookers...".

Deputy Head of the Market Management Department Nguyen Van Thang added that the department's leaders had worked with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Manager of BigC Vinh Trade Center and agreed on a number of contents: Requiring BigC Vinh Supermarket to regularly inspect and urge businesses renting premises in the supermarket to comply with state regulations on commercial activities such as ensuring the quality of goods; posting prices and selling at the correct listed prices; goods must have origin, have labels according to regulations; sales staff must practice civilized trade. BigC Vinh Trade Center must regularly provide information on business entities; goods with signs of violations to the market management force for inspection and handling according to regulations. The trade center needs to create the best conditions for the market management force to conduct surprise inspections or according to plans when approved by the department's leaders.

The fake Saniyo - Made in Japan infrared double cooker has disappeared from BigC Vinh Supermarket.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy completely agreed with the above contents and considered the case of Toan Cau Trading and Export Company Limited as a lesson to learn from.

Also according to the Market Management Department, Mr. Ho Sy Trung, a citizen of Hamlet 8, Hung Chinh Commune, Vinh City (the person who sent a complaint to Nghe An Newspaper about the infrared cooker showroom of Toan Cau Trading and Import-Export Company Limited) wrote a letter to inform: Director of Toan Cau Trading and Import-Export Company Limited, Mr. Nguyen Ba Quyen went to Mr. Trung's private home to resolve the recent incident.
