There are clues in the kidnapping and murder of a 20-day-old baby
On the afternoon of November 28, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department announced that it had obtained clues about the suspect involved in the kidnapping and murder of a 20-day-old baby girl in Bim Son town (Thanh Hoa).
"The suspect was identified as having an acquaintanceship with the victim's family and hired someone to commit the tragic crime," said an investigator involved in the investigation of the case.
Previously, at around 6:40 p.m. on November 25, the daughter of Mr. Le Huu Thuan (born in 1980) and his wife, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huyen (born in 1979), residing in Quarter 1, Bac Son Ward, Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa, just over 20 days old, was kidnapped from their home.

At that time, the baby was being held by Ms. Pham Thi Xuan (born in 1952, Thuan's biological mother), when two subjects, one male and one female, came on a motorbike, used a knife to control Ms. Xuan, picked up the baby and jumped on the motorbike to escape.
At 9:30 a.m. on November 27, local residents and authorities found the child's body at a landfill in Dong Son ward (Bim Son, Thanh Hoa), more than 10km from the child's home.
After the incident, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police requested the Institute of Criminal Science of the Ministry of Public Security to coordinate the investigation to have a scientific basis to prove and clarify the criminal. Currently, the Department of Criminal Police - Ministry of Public Security has also started investigating the case.
