The New York Times published a list of 52 ideal destinations for tourists in 2016, in which Da Lat ranked 30th, with cool spring weather and unique agricultural products.

Dalat (30):Pine forests, avocado gardens or artichoke tea are not very common in Vietnam, but they are all in Da Lat. The land that was once a resort for the French during the colonial period has spring weather all year round, along with unique agricultural products such as asparagus, strawberries, coffee, roses... Da Lat is also famous for outdoor activities such as golf, boating, mountain biking... This is a completely new experience for tourists when coming to Vietnam.

Mexico City, Mexico (No. 1):Visitors can enjoy some of the world’s best cuisine, museums and unique architecture in Mexico’s capital. With an influx of young migrants from Latin America and Spain, the peso has hit a record low against the dollar. Mexico City is much safer than it was in the 1990s, and taxi services like Uber and Yaxi make getting around a breeze. Photo: hotelroomsearch.

Bordeaux, France (2):La Cité du Vin, a tribute to the history of French viticulture, will be built next year on the Garonne River in Bordeaux. In 2013, the world's largest movable bridge, Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas, was inaugurated. In 2007, half of the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making Bordeaux the largest urban heritage site in the world. In 2013, Bordeaux was voted the second best city in France after Paris.

Malta (3):This affordable Mediterranean destination offers a great climate, beautiful beaches, and unique stone temples. English is one of Malta's two official languages, but few Americans discover its beauty. There are three inhabited islands to explore: Malta, a World Heritage Site known for its limestone buildings, Gozo, with its calm waters ideal for diving, and Comino, a car-free place.

Coral Bay, St. John (4):The deserted beaches and friendly locals are the main attractions of this place. Full moon parties take place every month at Miss Lucy's, and the famous Thanksgiving roast pork is also a specialty of Coral Bay. However, this peaceful bay may soon change as construction projects are proposed to start here.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota, USA (5):This national park will celebrate its 100th anniversary in August. Its red, white, and yellow badlands and grasslands are the hallmarks. Crater Lake, Mesa Verde and the Grand Canyon are popular destinations to explore.

Mozambique (6):The African land has a wonderful blend of both safari and peaceful beaches.

Toronto, Canada (7):Toronto is emerging as Canada's premier city, quietly emerging from the shadows of Montreal and Vancouver. The city has bike and pedestrian paths, green spaces filled with art. Toronto is known for its cultural diversity and continues to attract visitors with popular arts and sporting events such as the Toronto International Film Festival held each September. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (8):This year, many luxury hotels continued to open in Abu Dhabi, including the 200-room Four Seasons in the city center and the 244-room Edition hotel in Abu Dhabi Marina. The city is serious about nature conservation with major ecological projects. The Al Wathba Wetland Ecological Conservation Project will be one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the Middle East, with 232 animal species.

Skane, Sweden (9):You can find some of the best Nordic cuisine here. But Skane’s real appeal lies outside the city, with its beautiful beaches, mushroom-filled forests and pretty red wooden houses.

Viñales, Cuba (10):Less than a three-hour drive from Havana is Viñales, a lush valley of red soil, tobacco fields, and dramatic limestone outcrops. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rent a bike or even a horse to cycle through the valley, and visit a tobacco farm to see how the world’s finest cigars are made.
