The majority of the people of DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhie voted to join Russia.
Residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporozhie and Kherson regions voted for joining Russia in a referendum held on September 23-27.
According to the results of 100% of the votes counted, in the Donetsk People's Republic, more than 99% of voters supported joining Russia, in the Lugansk People's Republic - almost 98.5%, Zaporozhie region - more than 93%, Kherson - more than 87%.
The referendum in these four regions was recognized as valid, as the number of voters who voted exceeded the prescribed threshold by more than 50%. Hundreds of observers from dozens of countries monitored the voting in recent days and they did not record any violations.

Earlier, activists asked the authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to urgently hold referendums. According to representatives of the regions, this will ensure the safety of the territory and restore historical justice.
Last week, President V. Putin declared that Russia will support the results that represent the will of the people of the Donbass, Zaporozhie and Kherson regions.
Ukrainian President V. Zelensky has declared that this makes it impossible to continue diplomatic negotiations with Russia.
The US and some Western countries have also spoken out about not recognizing the referendum results of these four regions and will increase sanctions against Russia.
