The body of a young man swept away by waves has been found.

(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing at sea, people discovered the body of a young man swept away by the waves on the afternoon of July 14.

Accordingly, at around 8am this morning, April 15, some fishermen were fishing about 200m from the mainland when they discovered a body floating in the sea. Immediately afterwards, the fishermen used a boat to swim to the body and identified it as Nguyen Van Trung (23 years old, in hamlet 7, Quynh Luong commune) who was swept away by the waves and went missing yesterday afternoon. At 9am the same day, the victim's body was brought back to his hometown by relatives to hold a funeral.

Previously, at around 3pm on July 14, a group of about 5 young people from Quynh Luong commune invited each other to go to a nearby beach to swim. While the group was swimming near the shore, 2 young men clung to a buoy to swim further away. When both of these young men were swimming about 100 metres from shore, they unfortunately encountered big waves and strong currents, so they were swept away by the waves.
