In November, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mr. Bornikov himself made assertions that the Russian plane crash in the Sinai Peninsula was carried out by terrorists.
According to experts' analysis, the killers brought a homemade bomb containing 1kg of TNT onto the plane and then blew up the plane and the 224 people on board.
Immediately after the accident, a terrorist group linked to IS in Egypt claimed responsibility. In response to the terrorist action, Russian President Putin ordered the Navy to intensify air strikes in Syria.
Mr. Putin also instructed Russian authorities to find those responsible, no matter where they are hiding, to bring justice to the victims and their families./.
