Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Quy Hop district

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Cong Duong reported on the results of the 3rd Session of the 16th Provincial People's Council, summarized the socio-economic development and national defense and security situation in 2011 and the socio-economic and national defense and security plan for 2012, and reported on the Resolutions passed by the Provincial People's Council at the session.
Voters were pleased with the results that the provincial Party Committee and people achieved in 2011 and recommended that delegates in the coming time need to resolve existing problems and shortcomings such as: Continue to invest in, support the production and supply of quality seeds, especially rice seeds; increase the subsidy level for plant seeds; strengthen inspection, examination, and strictly manage business services to ensure the quality of rice seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. on the market; pay attention to promoting agricultural extension, transferring scientific and technical advances, and transforming the structure of crops and livestock; request the province to direct the acceleration of the implementation of the new rural construction project, quickly invest funds for implementation; have policies and mechanisms to upgrade rooms, classrooms, sanitation facilities, and clean water for schools.
Voters in Dong Minh, Liem Minh, Bu Sanh hamlets... requested the electricity sector to pay people who invested in building transformer stations and low-voltage power systems before handing them over to the electricity sector for management; increase allowances for concurrent positions; and increase funding for activities of political and social organizations.
Mr. Tran Cong Duong and leaders of Quy Hop district and Chau Thai commune explained issues within their authority, and at the same time received and synthesized voters' recommendations and proposals to submit to competent authorities for consideration and resolution in the coming time.
