Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in localities

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, on the morning of June 14, delegates of the Provincial People's Council met with voters in localities.

* In Nghi Thiet commune (Nghi Loc),Provincial People's Council delegates including Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung - Vice President of Nghe An Cooperative Union, Mr. Tran Xuan Quang - Chairman of Nghi Loc District Fatherland Front Committee had a meeting with voters of Nghi Thiet commune.

Voters of Nghi Thiet commune listened to reports on the province's socio-economic development in the first 6 months of the year, tasks for the last 6 months of 2017, the expected program and time of the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, and reports on the results of handling voters' petitions after the 3rd session of the Provincial People's Council.

Voters of Nghi Thiet commune proposed a number of issues such as: the construction of two cultural houses, two welcome gates, and fishing boat docks for the two hamlets of Bac Thinh and Nam Thinh has not been implemented; There should be policies to support the development of craft villages; During the construction of projects, many inter-village and inter-commune roads in the area have been degraded; There should be a special support mechanism for communes implementing many projects attracted by the province; Other concerns include resolving the regime for meritorious people; having a regime of allowances for union and association branch cadres and raising allowances for part-time commune-level cadres; supporting clean water sources for people's daily life; requesting the province to take measures to handle subjects causing disturbances to security and order related to religion in the province in the past time.

On behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Tran Xuan Quang - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghi Loc district received and explained the issues reflected and recommended by voters within his authority and promised to forward them to the Provincial People's Council in the next session.

At the meeting with voters of Nghi Cong Bac commune, some recommendations were made such as: It is necessary to build a spillway from Nghi Cong to Nghi My, because during the rainy season, this spillway is extremely dangerous for people and vehicles passing through here; The quality of construction works is poor; The situation of loss and waste of construction works still occurs frequently; The situation of violating food safety and hygiene is increasing; The regime for part-time cadres is low; The settlement of regimes and policies for meritorious people and support for this group to build houses is slow.

Voters also said that the State needs to strictly handle those who spread propaganda against the Party and the State; reflect that the Nha No pumping station project is being implemented too slowly, affecting the production of the people in hamlet 12 of this commune; the situation of people arbitrarily selling forest land to each other is still happening, causing difficulties in managing forest resources in the area; ...

On behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Dang Quang Hong discussed, explained and accepted the opinions of voters. Regarding issues under the authority of districts and communes, delegate Dang Hong Quang requested specialized agencies at district and commune levels to inspect and resolve according to their authority.

Voters of Bong Khe commune made some recommendations such as: The State needs to have an allowance regime for the deputy branch leaders at the grassroots level; The upgrading of National Highway 7 causes local flooding in Vinh Hoan and 2-9 villages, and measures need to be taken to drain the water; Traffic problems in transporting agricultural products to the left bank are still difficult; Continue to supply cement for people to build new rural roads; It is necessary to soon clearly define the boundary between Tam Son - Anh Son commune and Khe Re village of Bong Khe commune to avoid disputes; The status of granting land use right certificates to households in Lam Tra and Tan Tra villages in the form of migration is still slow...
