Provincial People's Council delegates meet with voters of Hoang Mai Town

(Baoghean.vn) - Implementing the program of meeting voters before the 14th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council, on the morning of June 11, delegates of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, including comrades Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Quang Trach - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with voters of Quynh Thien ward and Quynh Loc commune, Hoang Mai town.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Hoang Mai town, there was comrade Doan Hong Vu - Secretary of the Town Party Committee, and delegates of the Town People's Council at election group No. 1.

At the meeting, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien informed voters about the content, program, and expected time of the 14th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council; the results of implementing socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year, the direction and tasks of socio-economic development in the last 6 months of the year of the Provincial People's Committee; and reported on the results of handling opinions and recommendations of voters in the province.

Most voters expressed their joy and excitement at the results that our province has achieved in the first 6 months of 2015, and at the same time made recommendations on a number of issues such as: some inappropriate regulations in the revised Land Law; activities of coal mines along the Mai Giang River causing environmental pollution, affecting people's lives, health and activities; electricity quality in many areas in the area has not met people's electricity needs, causing economic losses; activities of the Hoang Mai Cement Factory causing dust pollution and shaking people's houses during blasting; the implementation of land consolidation and plot exchange is not transparent; many heavy trucks evade paying fees, running on inter-village and inter-commune roads, causing the roads to be increasingly damaged.

Voters' opinions and recommendations have been received and explained by the Provincial People's Council delegates; a number of issues under the town's authority have been explained by the leaders of Hoang Mai town; other opinions and recommendations of voters will be compiled and sent to the relevant agencies for consideration, resolution and response at the 14th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council in the coming time./.
