XIII National Assembly delegates meet voters of Con Cuong district
(Baonghean) -Following the program of meeting voters in preparation for the 2nd session of the 13th National Assembly, yesterday, October 7, the 13th National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, including Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Head of the National Assembly's Petition Committee; Vi Thi Huong - Deputy Director of Tay Nam Nghe An General Hospital, had a meeting with voters of Mon Son commune - Con Cuong district.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien reported to voters on the results of the first session and the expected contents and working program at the second session of the 13th National Assembly.
Next, voters made recommendations on a number of issues, of which the most important concerns are vocational training and job placement for ethnic minority children after graduating from high school, college and university; allowances for specialized officials at the commune level are still low; attention should be paid to investing funds to upgrade and build infrastructure for remote areas; attention should be paid to the difficult lives of ethnic minorities; the state should continue to have policies to support loans, plant varieties and livestock in agricultural production to help people overcome the consequences of floods...
After listening to voters' opinions, National Assembly deputies explained a number of issues within their authority, and at the same time received and synthesized opinions beyond their authority to present to the National Assembly in the upcoming session.
On this occasion, the National Assembly delegation presented gifts to two village elders, each worth 1,000,000 VND, and to four households with especially difficult circumstances in two resettlement villages, each worth 500,000 VND.
