National Assembly delegates meet voters of Hung Nguyen town

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program of meeting voters after the session, on the morning of December 17, National Assembly delegates: Tran Huu Tuat - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV; Le Thi Tam - President of the Provincial Women's Union had a meeting with voters of Hung Nguyen town.

At the meeting, delegate Tran Huu Tuat announced some results of the 6th session of the 13th National Assembly, in which the National Assembly passed the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (amended) and 8 laws; and gave opinions on 10 draft laws.

Voters are concerned that many university graduates have difficulty finding jobs.

Next, voters reflected their thoughts and wishes: Requesting the National Assembly, the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to clarify the issue of the Electricity sector forcing electricity users to bear the loss of investment outside the sector in electricity prices; the cumbersome apparatus, low efficiency, while many good and talented students are still not attracted. There needs to be a clear mechanism, raising responsibility to resolve citizens' petitions as soon as they arise, avoiding the situation of bypassing the authorities. The issue that many voters mentioned was that the State should consider paying funeral expenses for people with Resistance Medals and Orders who died before October 2005; the regime for Youth Volunteers; resolving records for families and individuals with meritorious services to the revolution; reviewing to supplement the beneficiaries who have not yet enjoyed the policy.

Voters also expressed concerns about the policy of building large-scale model fields to increase farmers' income, but there is no effective way to do it; the problem of errors in issuing health insurance cards has not been resolved, causing difficulties for people... Some issues related to the regime for grassroots officials and some issues under the jurisdiction of the province, district and town were also mentioned and reflected by voters.

At the end of the meeting with voters, delegate Le Thi Tam acknowledged the frank, enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the voters; at the same time, explained a number of issues that voters were concerned about. Delegate Le Thi Tam promised to fully summarize the opinions, proposals and recommendations of voters to send to the National Assembly, the Government and the Central Ministries and branches for consideration and resolution. Mr. Hoang Van Phi - Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council also explained issues under the district's authority.
