Delegates visiting the mausoleum expressed their infinite gratitude to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh - the teacher of Vietnam's revolutionary press. After nearly 60 years of working as a revolutionary journalist, President Ho Chi Minh left behind many fundamental viewpoints and profound thoughts on press activities. According to President Ho Chi Minh, the task of the press is to serve the people and the revolution. At the 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association (September 8, 1962), Uncle Ho emphasized: "Press cadres are also revolutionary soldiers. Pens and paper are their sharp weapons". He also pointed out that journalists must have courage, not bend their pens, and to do so, they must have a "firm political stance", "politics must be done correctly"... Ho Chi Minh's style, ethics, and press language have become a model for Vietnam's revolutionary press today and in the future.
