Gangster boss shot dead as he got out of car in Ha Tinh
Bringing dozens of his followers to show off, Nguyen aggressively got out of the car but was shot in the chest by his opponent.
On September 26, Ha Tinh Provincial Police announced that they had decided to prosecute and detain Le Hoang Anh (30 years old, residing in Duc Lac commune, Duc Tho district) for the crime ofKilling, according to Article 123 of the 2015 Penal Code. Suspect Hoang Anh is still being sought.
According to the investigation documents, Hoang Anh and Nguyen Song Thao (resident of Duc An commune, owner of the pawn shop) had a previous conflict. At around 3:00 p.m. on September 20, Nguyen Xuan Tap (Thao's younger brother) called Hoang Anh to ask about this. The two sides argued loudly, challenging each other to fight.
Angry, Thao invited more people to confront Hoang Anh, including gangster Tran Cao Nguyen (34 years old).
At around 4:30 p.m. the same day, dozens of people, in cars and on motorbikes, arrived at Hoang Anh's house. Nguyen was the first person to get out of the car and enter the gate. Hoang Anh, who was waiting with a gun, shot him in the chest, seriously injuring him.

Nguyen turned around and quickly got into his car and motorbike with his disciples and fled. Hoang Anh continued to chase, fired another shot into the roof of the Innova and fled the area. Nguyen later died from acute blood loss.
According to authorities, Hoang Anh is the owner of an Internet cafe and pawn shop and a loan shark in Duc Lac commune. In recent years, he has become rich quickly.
