Provincial leaders congratulate Nghe An Veterans Association

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of December 6, on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Veterans Association (December 6, 1989 - December 6, 2013), representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, led by comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, came to present flowers to congratulate the officers and staff of the Nghe An Provincial Veterans Association.

Colonel Nguyen Dinh Minh - Vice Chairman of the Veterans Association of Nghe An province announced some activities of the Association in the past year. All 21 district, city and town associations achieved excellent results; 100% of grassroots level completed their tasks, 80% achieved excellent results; thanked the provincial leaders for their attention, direction and facilitation, helping all levels of associations from the province to the grassroots to complete their tasks well.

Comrade Ho Phuc Hop acknowledged and highly appreciated the activities of the Provincial Veterans Association in the past year, especially the models of veterans developing the economy and building new rural areas. He also hoped that in the coming time, with its role, the Nghe An Veterans Association would perform better in its political and social tasks, contributing to Party building, building a strong government as well as developing the province's economy and society.
