Vietnam's FPT University is present and ranked high in the world university rankings.

On November 16, FPT University became the first Vietnamese university to be officially recognized with a three-star international ranking (***) according to QS Stars – one of the leading ranking standards for universities worldwide.

Dr. Le Truong Tung, Principal of FPT University, was honored to receive the Three-Star certification at the QS APPLE International Education Conference held in Indonesia.

For international universities, QS rankings are a condition to affirm their position and reputation, and at the same time contribute significantly to enhancing the value of the degrees of students who have studied at the school. FPT University is the first Vietnamese university to participate in the QS rankings, and was honored to be awarded a Three-Star certificate at the QS APPLE International Education Conference held in Indonesia, in which the assessment of training and social contribution reached Five-Star standards.

Participating in the QS rankings, FPT University has previously undergone rigorous assessment rounds by this organization on many criteria, such as: Teaching quality, Employability, Research, Internationalization - International students, Facilities, Engagement, Accreditation, Scholarships and student support types (Access). Of the 8 criteria above, the QS organization rated FPT University's Training Quality and Social Contribution criteria with an absolute score of 5 stars - the highest level in QS's star rating. At the same time, criteria such as Facilities, Employability, Scholarships and student support types received 4 stars.

According to QS Stars definition, a 3-star rated university is a university with a good reputation domestically, as well as a certain international brand, and its graduates are welcomed by employers.
