Lac Hong University won the national Robocon competition
On the evening of May 15, at Tien Son Sports Complex, Da Nang City, the final round of the 2011 National Robocon Competition ended with the championship belonging to team LH B7-Lac Hong University. This will be the representative of Vietnam to attend the international Robocon competition in August in Thailand.
Last night, there were 7 matches in the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals with the presence of 5 teams, in which Lac Hong University - the defending champion of 2010 - had absolute dominance. However, only LH B7 of Lac Hong University and ALLIGATOR of Hanoi University of Industry, the sole representative of the Northern region, remained in the final match. The final match was really thrilling and attractive when the two teams were evenly matched and LH B7 team won absolutely in the 90th second, a few seconds more than their opponents and won the championship of this year's competition.
The defeat in a few seconds of the only representative of the Northern region, ALLIGATOR was really regrettable and the audience gave a round of applause to cheer and encourage the whole team. This is truly a worthy opponent of Lac Hong University in the next competitions with modern technology, the robot has a breakthrough in both technology and design.
Over the past 10 years, the Vietnam Robocon competition sponsored by Toyota Vietnam has helped students express their scientific ideas. This is truly a useful and effective playground for students in studying, researching and absorbing modern technology.
