Vinh University rewards 12 typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 15, the Party Committee of Vinh University held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to promote "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh"; to review 4 years of implementing Resolution of the Central Committee 4 (term XI) "Some urgent issues on Party building at present"; Resolution 29/NQ-TW of the Central Committee of the Party on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Building Committees.

In the past 5 years, implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo, the Party Committee of Vinh University has focused on directing the work of following Uncle Ho with 3 major orientations. That is, following Uncle Ho in the virtues of "diligence, thrift, integrity, and uprightness", associated with the campaign "Every teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity"; promoting administrative reform; enhancing the application of information technology in management, training and scientific research.

Since then, the awareness of saving among cadres, lecturers, staff and students has been raised. The cadres, teachers, students and the school have donated 2 billion VND to build a treatment house for the medical station and 10 gratitude houses, and supported breeding cows for poor households in Chau Thai commune (Quy Hop).

The school also contributed billions of VND to activities to support teachers and students in extremely disadvantaged areas in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces; to support people affected by natural disasters; to support the program "Joining hands for the homeland's sea and islands", "Warm Tet for poor students"... In particular, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals have appeared in carrying out political tasks with the right and professional attitude at work; cultivating morality and a beautiful lifestyle.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies awarded the 30-year Party badge to the school's party members.

Along with Directive 03 of the Politburo, the Party Committee of Vinh University seriously implemented Resolution No. 12 and Resolution No. 29 of the Central Executive Committee of the Party, creating many positive changes in the school's movements.

This is the condition and foundation for the school to be included by the Prime Minister in the list of key national universities; selected by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of the seven centers for training and fostering teachers and educational managers nationwide and one of the nine universities implementing the national foreign language project 2020.

Comrade Dinh Xuan Khoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Principal of Vinh University awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing solutions to continue implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo and resolutions of the Party at all levels to achieve higher efficiency; contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels, term 2015 - 2020.

On this occasion, 1 party member of the school was awarded the 30-year Party badge; 12 individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example.
