| On the morning of March 21, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper held a congress for the 2020 - 2022 term. Attending and directing the congress on the side of Nghe An Newspaper were comrades: Tran Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief; Ngo Duc Kien - Deputy Editor-in-Chief; Dau Van Thanh - Chairman of the Trade Union, Chief of Office. On the side of the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies, there were comrades: Nguyen Cong Minh - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies; Ly Van Duong - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Court, Head of the Emulation Cluster of Literature, Society and Internal Affairs.Photo: Thanh Cuong |
PERFORM PROFESSIONAL TASKS WELL
Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union has 28 members, of which 98% have university and post-graduate degrees, 1 comrade is a PhD. In the 2017 - 2020 term, the Youth Union continues to maintain its position as one of the outstanding units of the Provincial Agencies Youth Union, achieving and exceeding the goals set by the congress.

During the past term, the union members and youth of Nghe An Newspaper have always proactively grasped modern journalism technologies, creatively applied the knowledge they had learned to take the lead in carrying out all professional tasks of the agency.
Thanks to that, every year, the members of the Youth Union have won many high prizes in provincial, industry and national press competitions. The topics covered by reporters who are Youth Union members have created a wide resonance and social impact.

Nghe An Youth Newspaper has also had many initiatives to serve professional work such as: building a Publishing Code of Conduct, building and developing a Youtube channel; setting up tools to improve the quality of Nghe An Newspaper's publishing; implementing the Editorial Board's Brand Identity Project...
In order to fulfill the requirement of building a convergent editorial office, the members of the branch have been pioneers in multimedia operations, approaching modern and creative forms of journalism in page layout and newspaper presentation. Every year, many members of the branch have achieved the title of emulation fighters at all levels.
COMMUNITY SURFACE
The volunteer movement for community life is regularly organized by the Youth Union, notably charitable and humanitarian activities such as: Building youth projects to support poor Xieng My commune (Tuong Duong); sponsoring Luong Thi Hien Nay - a 9th grade student at Xieng My Secondary School; supporting union members who had a tragic accident in Nghi Loc; visiting and donating to support Border Guard soldiers in Thanh Chuong who were injured while on duty...

The Youth Union has also actively responded to activities organized by the superior Youth Union such as: Blood donation, traditional football tournament; visiting and giving gifts to families of war invalids, martyrs, and soldiers of Mat Island...
The cultural, artistic and sports activities of the industry, the Party Committee, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and the Youth Union branches all actively and fully participated; were the main force in organizing the annual Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament; coordinated with the Trade Union to organize many meaningful activities.
During the 2017 - 2020 term, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper and many outstanding members were awarded certificates of merit, certificates of merit, and emulation flags by the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Youth Union, and Provincial Youth Union of Offices for their outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and volunteer movements.
Along with social security work, Nghe An Newspaper's Youth Union always pays attention to training outstanding members for the Party to consider admitting them, promptly implementing procedures for members to participate in training courses to improve awareness of the Party.

During the last term, the Youth Union Executive Committee introduced 4 outstanding members to the Party Committee to participate in the Party target class organized by the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Civil Servants' Bloc, of which 2 comrades were admitted to the Party. Currently, the Youth Union has 11 members participating in Youth Union activities.
MAINTAIN THE "FLAG LEADER" POSITION
Speaking at the congress, comrade Tran Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper highly appreciated the achievements that the Youth Union had achieved in the past term.
At the same time, it affirmed that the role of union members and youth is always highly appreciated by the Party Committee and specialized departments, and is the "nucleus" leading the innovation process of the agency.

Placing expectations on the youth of Nghe An Newspaper, he hopes that the Youth Union will continue to strive to become the "leading flag" that is not afraid of difficulties and hardships of the agency in particular and the youth of the province in general in carrying out assigned political and professional tasks.
In particular, it is necessary to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, overcome existing limitations to build an increasingly strong youth union organization, create an environment to foster revolutionary ideals, and train political qualities for union members.
From there, build a youth force rich in intelligence, good in professional expertise, pure in ethics; contribute to the comprehensive development of the Party newspaper, worthy of the title of Heroic Unit in the renovation period.

Attending and giving comments on the goals and tasks of the Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union in the 2020 - 2022 term, comrade Nguyen Cong Minh - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Youth Union of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the unit needs to continue to closely follow the Party's policies and guidelines, constantly improve awareness and political mettle to orient ideals and strengthen the belief of youth union members in the Party's leadership.

Of which, comrade Ha Nguyen Khoa - Deputy Head of Publishing Department holds the position of Secretary of the Youth Union; comrade Pham Van Bang holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union.
