Congress of Nghe An Province Dance Artists Association
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 29, at the headquarters of the Literature and Arts Association, the Nghe An Dance Artists Association held a grassroots congress. Attending the congress were: People's Artist Chu Thuy Quynh - President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, Pham Hung Thoan - Editor-in-Chief of Nhip Dieu Magazine.

At the congress, Meritorious Artist Lam Bich Nguyen - Head of the Nghe An Dance Artists Association reported on the summary of the association's activities in the 5th term (2010 - 2015) and the direction of activities in the 6th term. Although established later than other associations, the Nghe An Dance Association has achieved many great achievements in all 3 sectors: Professional sector, mass art sector and Viet Duc Children's Cultural House. Many professional dance works won major awards at festivals nationwide. Many talented young artists were discovered and trained promptly. Notably, the association has 2 members who were awarded the title of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist by the State, namely artists Le Thi Quynh Nhu and Phan Thi Diem Hang.

Members discussed and contributed many profound ideas expressing their passion for dance and concerns for the association to continue operating effectively.
The congress voted to elect delegates to attend the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association and elected a new Executive Committee. Meritorious Artist Lam Bich Nguyen continues to hold the role of President of the Nghe An Dance Artists Association for the 2015-2020 term.
