During the past term, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Nghe An had many creative activities, exhibitions and participated in regional, national and international competitions and had many authors winning high prizes, many authors had their works selected for exhibition in the competitions.

Nghe An Photographers Association has coordinated with Nghe An Press Photo Club, Nghe An Artistic News Photo Club, Nghe An Literature and Arts Association Photo Board to organize dozens of art and news photo exhibitions and 2 Nghe An photo contests.

Artists have actively participated in regional, national and international competitions, many artists have won high prizes in international, domestic, regional and provincial competitions such as: International Gold Cup in Japan with the work "Fire", by author Sy Minh; At the ASEAN film competition and festival; Nghe An Association had 2 authors winning prizes, including a special prize, a third prize by author Tran Duy Ngoan and 1 consolation prize by Sy Minh; At the art photography competitions and festivals of 6 provinces in the North Central region during the past term, Nghe An Association won 2 Gold medals, 3 team prizes, Gold Prize in 2012 for the work "Trao truyen" by author Quang Dung, Gold Prize in 2014 for the work "Cung hoc" by author Sy Minh. The congress elected a new Executive Committee consisting of 3 comrades: Thanh Hai, Quang Dung, Tu Thanh and elected 6 official delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in December 2014.
