During the past term, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Nghe An had many creative activities, exhibitions and participated in regional, national and international competitions and had many authors winning high prizes, many authors had their works selected to be exhibited in competitions.

Nghe An Photographic Artists Association has coordinated with Nghe An Press Photography Club, Nghe An Artistic News Photography Club, and Photography Board of Nghe An Literature and Arts Association to organize dozens of art and news photography exhibitions and 2 Nghe An photo contests.

The artists have actively participated in regional, national and international competitions, many artists have won high prizes in international, domestic, regional and provincial competitions such as: International Gold Cup in Japan with the work "Fire" by author Sy Minh; At the ASEAN Film Festival and Competition; Nghe An Branch had 2 authors winning prizes, including a special prize, a third prize by author Tran Duy Ngoan and 1 consolation prize by Sy Minh; At the art photography competitions and festivals of 6 provinces in the North Central region during the past term, Nghe An Branch has won 2 Gold medals, 3 team prizes, Gold Prize in 2012 for the work "Trao truyen" by author Quang Dung, Gold Prize in 2014 for the work "Cung hoc" by author Sy Minh. The congress elected a new Executive Committee consisting of 3 comrades: Thanh Hai, Quang Dung, Tu Thanh and elected 6 official delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in December 2014.
