Nghe An Newspaper Trade Union Congress, term 2012-2014
(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, July 7, 2012, the Nghe An Newspaper Trade Union Executive Committee held the agency's trade union congress for the 2012-2014 term. Attending the congress were representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation and Nghe An Trade Union.
The congress approved the reports of the Executive Committee for the 2009-2012 term submitted to the 2012-2014 trade union congress. Up to now, Nghe An Newspaper's trade union has 68 members, of which women account for half, most of whom have university and post-graduate degrees, and are active in 8 trade union groups. During the past term, despite difficult conditions, with the close leadership of the Party Committee and Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union, Nghe An Newspaper's trade union activities achieved results in all fields, promoting the patriotic emulation movement, motivating cadres, reporters and workers to successfully complete their political tasks. The trade union coordinates with professional organizations and organizations in the agency to organize emulation movements such as "good advice, good management, good service" movement, creative labor movement, "practicing thrift against waste and corruption", "studying to improve all aspects to meet task requirements", "good at public affairs, good at housework" movement associated with the campaign to build "loyal, creative, dedicated, exemplary" civil servants and public employees.
Every year, in addition to launching the signing of emulation covenants among staff, reporters, and workers, the preliminary work, summarizing the emulation and commendation, and praising collectives and individuals have entered into a positive routine. Outstanding during the term, maintaining the emulation movement of "good articles, beautiful newspaper pages"; at the same time, the Editorial Board has a mechanism for extraordinary rewards to encourage reporters to actively stay close to the grassroots, especially in remote areas, discover topics and create good works. Thanks to that, many quality news and articles have been periodically rewarded every month, and dozens of reporters have been awarded journalism awards every year. Typical examples include comrade Sy Minh winning the international award for photography, comrade Van Doan - Chau Lan winning the first prize of Nghe An journalism in 2010, comrade Thanh Chung winning the third prize of the National Journalism Award in 2011, the group of authors: Thanh Le - My Ha - Thanh Duy winning the second prize of the provincial journalism award in 2011...
Every year, over 90% of the staff and employees complete their tasks well and achieve the title of Emulation Fighter, including 15-20 grassroots emulation fighters and many union members who have successfully completed their tasks and are awarded by all levels. Every year, 100% of the union groups achieve the title of strong union group, including 70% of the union groups with excellent strength. Continuously for 3 years 2009-2010-2011, the agency union was classified as an excellent strong union and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Federation of Labor and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In addition to professional activities, the Party Committee, Executive Committee, and Union pay attention to the material and spiritual life of union members. Social activities are a beautiful feature that has been maintained for many years by the agency. In total, from 2009 to June 2012, the agency mobilized 110 million VND to support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, visit and give gifts to families with meritorious services, poor households, sick union members and families of the agency's officers and employees...
