The 15th Congress of the Party Committee of Brigade 215, term 2015 - 2020

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of May 26, the Party Committee of Brigade 215 (Armored Corps) solemnly held the 15th Congress of the Party Committee of Brigade 215, term 2015 – 2020.

Attending the congress were comrades: Major General Vu Manh Tri - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Armored Corps; Colonel Nguyen Duc Dinh - Political Commissar of the Armored Corps; representatives of local government leaders and 115 delegates, representing more than 500 party members of the Party Committee of Brigade 215.

During the 2010-2015 term, the world, regional and domestic situation had many fluctuations; the army and its branches continued to implement the policy of reorganizing, streamlining the staff, and gradually modernizing to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. However, with a firm grasp of the situation, the Party Committee of Brigade 215 and the Party committees and commanders at all levels had many solutions that were both synchronous and specific, leading the unit to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Adhering to the motto of “Fundamental, practical, solid”, training and combat readiness have had many positive innovations. In addition, promoting the movement of innovation in training equipment, in the past 5 years, the Brigade has had 34 initiatives, put into use with good results. Emulation and reward work is considered important both in breadth and depth. In the past 5 years, the Brigade has launched 20 major emulation campaigns, 14 raid and peak emulation campaigns; 24 collectives were awarded the title of winning unit; 112 individuals were awarded the title of emulation soldier at all levels.

Regarding Party building work, during the past term, the Party Committee of Brigade 215 considered the request for 57 outstanding members to participate in Party sympathy classes, contributed opinions to propose the official transfer of 54 probationary members to the Party, and proposed 56 outstanding members to join the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Major General Vu Manh Tri - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Armored Corps delivered a speech directing the Congress.

Entering the new term, the Party Committee of Brigade 215 determined to focus on implementing two breakthroughs: Improving the comprehensive leadership capacity of grassroots Party organizations, cadres and party members to meet the requirements and tasks of training and combat readiness; organizing and implementing well the work of educating, managing and training cadres, party members and the masses, strictly complying with state laws, military discipline, unit regulations, building a truly disciplined and exemplary unit.

At the congress, delegates also focused on discussing and contributing ideas to the draft documents of the 12th National Congress of the Party, the draft Political Report of the Party Committee of the Corps; and listened to the draft Political Report and review report of the Party Committee of Brigade 215.

The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Brigade 215 for the 2015-2020 term; elected delegates to attend the 10th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army Corps and approved the Congress Resolution.
