(Baonghean.vn) - On March 18, the Party Committee of Nghia Son commune, Nghia Dan district solemnly held the 5th Congress of Delegates, term 2015 - 2020. This is the first unit of Nghia Dan district to hold a congress and was selected by the district as a model congress. Attending the congress were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee. On the district side, there was comrade Vi Van Dinh - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council and comrades in the District Party Committee Standing Committee, 135 official delegates representing party members in the whole commune.

Overview of the Congress

In the past term, despite many common difficulties, the Party Committee and people of Nghia Son commune have united, unanimously, creatively strived to rise up and achieved important results. In the 5 years from 2010 - 2015, Nghia Son had quite a development step, shifting the economic structure in the right direction, suitable to the characteristics of the locality, many effective economic models appeared. Focusing on prevention, not allowing major epidemics to occur on crops and livestock. Productivity, quality and efficiency of some crops and livestock achieved quite good results. Creating favorable conditions for large projects on concentrated dairy farming on an industrial scale, creating new models and a big shift in agricultural production in the area. Total production value reached more than 112 billion VND, economic growth rate reached 14.1%. Average income per capita reached more than 28 million VND/year. The proportion of trade and services has developed quite rapidly, reaching more than 45%, with various types of services such as restaurants, motels, transportation, wholesale and retail, especially in the central area of ​​the commune, serving the development needs and large projects in the area. The poverty rate of the commune is only 2.75%, the rate of cultural families is 90%, the people's lives are increasingly concerned and improved significantly.

At the congress, 15 comrades were elected to the Party Committee of the commune, term V, 2015-2020, and delegates were elected to attend the upcoming Party Congress of Nghia Dan district, term XXVIII.

Immediately after the Nghia Son Commune Party Congress, the Nghia Dan District Party Standing Committee will organize an experience review session, requesting grassroots Party committees to focus on directing the organization of the congress and complete it according to plan.
