(Baonghean.vn) - On March 14, the Party Committee of Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu district held the 30th Congress of Delegates, term 2015 - 2020.

During the past term, the Party Committee and people of Quynh Luong commune have united, unanimously, creatively strived to rise up and achieved important results. The average growth rate of 5 years reached 7.57%, the economic structure of agriculture - forestry - fishery reached 58.54%, services 32.12%, industry - construction 9.34%. Total development investment capital increased quite well, reaching over 126 billion VND. The average added value per capita in 2015 is expected to reach 25.8 million VND, an increase of 1.88 times compared to 2010. Regarding education, schools in the commune have maintained the title of advanced and national standard schools. The rate of cultural families reached 88%. Up to now, the rate of employed workers is 97.5%. The rate of poor households is expected to be 2% in 2015.

Regarding the construction of new rural areas, the commune has been proactive, actively and resolutely mobilizing the internal resources of the entire population, taking advantage of the attention and support of superiors to invest in the construction of socio-economic infrastructure works with a budget of over 61 billion VND. In addition, the people invested over 65 billion VND to build and renovate houses, and donate land for roads. By August 2014, Quynh Luong was the first commune in the district to be recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting new rural standards.
