(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 21, the Youth Union of Hung Phuc Ward held the 2nd Congress of the Youth Union of Hung Phuc Ward, term 2014-2019.

During the past term, the Youth Union of Hung Phuc Ward has closely followed 3 campaigns and 2 major programs implemented by the Central Union in a synchronous manner, bringing practical results to serve the task of local economic development. In particular, social security and environmental protection have always received special attention from the Union, volunteer clubs have operated effectively, organized many environmental protection campaigns, removed advertisements on the roads, and cleaned up the roads managed by the youth. Summer volunteer activities and exam support activities have been implemented with good results every year and have been awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Union. The Union has mobilized over 50 million VND to support families with preferential policies and children in difficult circumstances.

The Congress discussed and approved the direction and tasks of the Association and youth movement for the 2014-2019 term, consulted to elect the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of the ward, term II, and sent 3 delegates to attend the Congress of Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh City.
