Provincial Inspectorate Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term

On the morning of May 8, the Provincial Inspectorate Party Committee held the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the congress was comrade Hoang Van Nhien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee.

During the past term, the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate Party Committee led the agency to excellently complete all assigned tasks, with work quality and efficiency increasingly improved.

Accordingly, every year, the Provincial Inspectorate has proactively developed and organized the implementation of an annual Inspection plan with focus and key points, suitable to the local situation and following the direction of the Government Inspectorate.

In particular, focusing on areas that are prone to violations such as: compliance with laws on budget management, construction investment management, compliance with laws on land, resources, and mineral management... and continuing to inspect the performance of tasks and public services of State management agencies in the province has created a comprehensive mark.

As a result, the Provincial Inspectorate has completed 100% of the annual inspection plan and surprise inspections assigned by the Government Inspectorate and the Provincial People's Committee with high quality and efficiency.

During the term, the Provincial Inspectorate conducted 99 socio-economic inspections; through the inspections, economic violations were discovered with a total amount of 188 billion VND, 72.2 billion VND higher than the previous term. It was recommended to recover 101 billion VND to the State budget, 32.4 billion VND higher than the previous term.

Pay attention to post-inspection handling: during the term, the Provincial Inspectorate has urged the recovery of 7.7 billion/15.6 billion VND for violations detected through inspection that have not been recovered from 2008 - 2019.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee has established surprise inspection teams chaired by the Provincial Inspectorate to resolve difficult problems such as: Inspection of compensation and site clearance for National Highway 1A, inspection of real estate project programs in the province, and inspection of the use of health insurance funds at public hospitals.

Along with promoting inspection work, the Provincial Inspectorate has also done a good job of receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations in the area under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee.

At the same time, the Provincial Inspectorate continues to advise the Provincial People's Committee on anti-corruption measures within its authority, such as: declaring and making transparent annual assets and income; monitoring and reporting on cases of improper use of public assets and improper gift giving.

Over the years, the unit has always focused on improving the organization of staff, especially the work of planning, appointment, rotation, training and fostering knowledge of state management, political theory, and professional expertise. From there, the leadership builds a strong agency.

Speaking at the congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies Bloc Hoang Van Nhien acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Inspectorate Party Committee in the past term.

He also requested the Provincial Inspectorate Party Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity to successfully carry out the set goals and tasks.

Continue to advise the province in performing state management work on inspection, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption.

The Party Committee needs to pay attention to training and improving the quality of its staff; coordinate well with local agencies in receiving citizens, handling petitions and resolving complaints and denunciations; pay attention to Party building work, building advanced models, etc.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, continuing to promote the tradition of the unit "Labor Hero in the period of innovation", with the theme "responsibility, courage, professionalism, and integrity", the Provincial Inspectorate Party Committee continues to lead the innovation of administrative inspection work, proactively and flexibly in implementing inspections according to programs and plans; promptly implementing assigned surprise inspections.

At the same time, effectively implement solutions to prevent corruption; strengthen State management of inspection, settlement of complaints and denunciations, and prevention and fight against corruption; continue to effectively carry out propaganda and dissemination of laws on anti-corruption and related regulations, associated with the implementation of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"...

In the spirit of seriousness, democracy and solidarity, the congress elected the Executive Committee of the Provincial Inspectorate Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 7 comrades.

At the first meeting of the Provincial Inspectorate Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, the Party Secretary, Deputy Party Secretary, Party Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee were elected. Comrade Pham Hong Son - Deputy Chief Inspector of the province continued to be elected as Party Secretary. The congress elected 3 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Provincial Agencies Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
