(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 13, the Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council held the 2nd Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term. Attending the Congress were comrades Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council has made many innovations in leading and directing its subordinate Party cells and Party members to successfully complete assigned tasks. In carrying out its political tasks, the Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council has led and advised on the organization of 15 sessions of the Provincial People's Council in the spirit of innovation, focusing on improving the quality of content; attended 10 sessions of the National Assembly; organized the collection of opinions on the amended Constitution and 194 draft laws. The supervision activities of the National Assembly Delegation, the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees have become increasingly practical, the supervision contents have received attention, and many long-standing pressing issues of voters have been resolved. During the term, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council conducted 117 supervisions and 75 surveys.

In addition, voter contact, petition work, and information and propaganda have also been effectively implemented. In leading the Party organization building, the Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council has focused on developing Party members in both quantity and quality. Currently, the Party Committee has 40 members operating in 6 affiliated Party cells.

Entering the new term, the Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council set out the following goals and tasks: Continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, improve the quality of the Party Committee, focus on promoting administrative reform and implementing democratic regulations. Innovate leadership, direction, and administration, build a team of "loyal, creative, dedicated, and exemplary" Party members and cadres to successfully and excellently complete all assigned tasks, and build a clean and strong Party Committee.
