Party Congress of Phuc Son Commune (Anh Son) for the 2020 - 2025 term

On the morning of March 25, the Party Committee of Phuc Son commune held the 21st Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the congress were comrade Nguyen Huu Sang - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Anh Son district; Standing members of the District Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of district-level departments and offices, and 215 delegates representing more than 420 party members in the Party Committee.

With the spirit of solidarity and innovation, during the 2015 - 2020 term, the Party Committee and people of Phuc Son commune have strived to achieve and exceed the targets set by the Resolution of the 20th Party Congress of the commune. The economy continues to develop rapidly and sustainably, with an average annual growth rate of 8%. The total social income index has increased every year; in 2019, the total social income reached 306 billion 661 million VND, of which the value of agriculture, forestry and fishery was 157 billion 336 million VND (accounting for 51%). Industry and handicrafts were 93 billion 656 million VND (accounting for 31%), and trade services reached 57 billion 669 million VND (accounting for 18%).

Average income per capita reached 33 million VND/person/year, an increase of more than 10 million VND compared to the beginning of the term; The poverty rate decreased from 17.5% in 2014 to 7.1% in 2019...

In the past 5 years, with the support of the state, attracting foreign resources from investors and the efforts of the people, Phuc Son commune has basically built electricity works, roads, schools, stations and irrigation systems to serve production and people's lives, with more than 145 large and small works, completing 33.1 km of concrete roads according to new rural standards, 4.1 km of canals, 11 village cultural houses with a total investment value of basic construction of 85.3 billion VND.

The whole commune currently has 82% of cultural families, 35% of sports families, up to now 15/25 villages and hamlets and 4/4 schools have achieved the title of cultural unit. Maintain and stabilize the political security situation, social order and safety, national security. During the term, 50 people were introduced to participate in the Party sympathy training class; 35 party members were admitted.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Huu Sang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Anh Son District acknowledged and commended the results and achievements that the Party Committee and people of Phuc Son Commune have achieved in the past term. At the same time, the District Party Committee Secretary emphasized a number of key tasks that the Commune Party Committee needs to carry out in the coming time, such as: Innovating the Party's leadership method, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members, improving the effectiveness of the government's management and administration, implementing well the principle of democratic centralism, regularly self-criticizing and criticizing in Party cell activities; exploiting well the potential and advantages, having specific, appropriate and open policies and mechanisms to mobilize resources for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development.

Continue to effectively implement the movement "All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas"; focus on building national defense associated with people's security posture. Strive to achieve the new rural standards as soon as possible and become a bright spot of the district in the new term...

For the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Phuc Son commune sets out the main targets.: Striving for an average growth rate of 6 - 7% in the period of 2020 - 2025; Total production value reaching 335 billion 184 million VND; Average income per capita by 2025 reaching 45 million VND/person/year; The commune strives to meet new rural standards by 2024. Every year, 100% of affiliated Party cells complete their tasks well, of which 20% of Party cells complete their tasks excellently...

In the spirit of solidarity, democracy and high unity, the 21st Congress of Phuc Son Commune Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 elected an Executive Committee of 15 comrades and elected a delegation of 12 comrades to attend the Anh Son District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

At the first meeting, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Phuc Son commune for the 2020-2025 term elected the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the commune consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Cong Binh was re-elected as Secretary of the Party Committee of Phuc Son commune for the 2020-2025 term.
