The Central Propaganda Department held a conference to review the work in 2020, deploy tasks in 2021 and a conference for cadres, civil servants, and employees of the agency. In 2020, with the spirit of innovation in content and working methods, efforts, creativity, proactive application of information technology in performing tasks... under close and drastic direction, the activities of the committee are always deployed synchronously, basically meeting the requirements of quality and progress. Notably: Completing projects submitted to the Politburo and the Secretariat; actively implementing tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat. The committee actively performs tasks serving the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party.
Regarding the work of political theory, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and fighting against wrong views and bad and toxic information, the committee has always paid attention to and implemented synchronously and drastically. The committee has proactively issued guidelines, documents, and propaganda outlines related to many contents on socio-economic development, important events of the country, events that have a profound impact on ideological work, politics, and public opinion. Along with that, the Central Propaganda Department always strengthens the work of press, publishing, culture, and arts; Actively implementing a number of important tasks on foreign information, propaganda on seas and islands, demarcation and marker planting, etc.
Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Vo Van Phuong said that the Central Propaganda Department has done a good job of providing timely and accurate information, guidance, and propaganda, ensuring orientation, ideology, and politics on the international and domestic situation. Thereby, serving the socio-economic development, foreign affairs, ensuring security and defense, and building the political system. From there, affirming the efforts to build Vietnam's image and position in the international arena.
In addition to the achievements, the activities of the Central Propaganda Department in the past year still have some shortcomings and limitations, such as the situation where some departments and units have not actively and proactively advised and proposed solutions to handle shortcomings in each field of work. The leadership, management, operation, and implementation of unit leaders are not good, and mistakes still occur. The coordination between units in the department is not really close...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vo Van Thuong suggested that in 2021, the Central Propaganda Department needs to perform well the assigned tasks related to serving the 13th National Party Congress; Closely coordinate with central and local departments, ministries and branches to proactively advise and urge the study and implementation of the Resolution.13th National Party Congressso that the resolution can be implemented more quickly. For the areas and tasks included in the action program, it is necessary to prepare very carefully to implement them well. For the internal work of the committee, it is necessary to carry out them in a more systematic manner. Personnel work must be open and transparent to meet work requirements. Continue to be creative, active, and proactive in strongly innovating the content and methods of propaganda.
Mr. Vo Van Thuong emphasized: "This year, in carrying out the task of serving the 13th National Party Congress, the most important thing at this point is the operation of the Press Center; we will continue to do related work, but operating the Press Center of the Congress and providing information to foreign press through the Electronic Information Portal and the Congress website must be carried out regularly, continuously, and updated with high quality information and must be carefully prepared because this time we cannot invite foreign press to Vietnam, so providing information to the outside must be carefully prepared"./.
1,587 delegates attend the 13th National Party Congress
(Baonghean.vn) - The Central Organizing Committee has completed the synthesis of documents and data; reviewed, assessed standards, analyzed the quality and structure of delegates of 67 delegations attending the 13th National Congress of the Party. Accordingly, the number of delegates attending the 13th National Congress of the Party is 1,587 people, an increase of 5.1% compared to the 12th Congress term.
