Congress of the Lam River Heritage Antiquities Association
(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, on the morning of November 22, the Song Lam Antiquities Heritage Association held its launching ceremony and congress for the 2013-2016 term.
Attending the event were representatives of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association, a number of departments, branches and branches of the Antiquities Heritage Association of Thanh Hoa, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thua Thien Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Song Lam Antiques Association has over 50 members, including people who have a hobby of collecting antiques in the whole province. Over the past time, from this movement, the association has collected hundreds of valuable antiques and has organized many thematic exhibitions such as the Dragon antiques exhibition during the Nham Thin New Year, the Quy Ty spring antiques exhibition, the Japanese antiques exhibition during the Japanese Cultural Week.

The establishment of the Song Lam Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association under the Central Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association is a meaningful event to encourage and motivate many antique collectors and protect antiques, helping them have an official and public playground and conditions to expand and develop. Thereby, many activities will be organized to organize, display, introduce, exchange artifacts and antiques, expand exchanges and cooperation with domestic associations to learn and exchange professional experiences.
The congress unanimously elected Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Head of Nghe An Monuments and Landscapes Management Board as Chairman of the Association.

Also on this occasion, the Lam River Antiquities Heritage Association and the Thua Thien Hue Province Antiquities Association donated many rare artifacts to Nghe An General Museum; cut the ribbon to open the antiquities exhibition room and held a discussion on professional activities.
