The 3rd Congress of the Youth Union of Hung Nguyen District

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 2, 2014, the Youth Union Committee of Hung Nguyen district organized the 3rd Congress of the District Youth Union, term 2014 - 2019 and honored the progressive Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings.

Attending the Congress were representatives of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations, and district-level sectors; Party Secretary; Youth Union Secretary, Chairman of the grassroots Youth Union and more than 100 outstanding young people attending the Congress.

The Congress approved the report on the work of the Association and the youth movement of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hung Nguyen District, Term II. Accordingly, the Vietnam Youth Union of Hung Nguyen District has actively implemented educational work for youth members through practical activities such as: "Repaying gratitude", helping families with revolutionary contributions. Actively propagating and mobilizing members to respond to the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", implementing a civilized lifestyle; establishing 25 Youth clubs to help each other develop the economy. The grassroots level of the Association has many effective models and forms of activities such as the campaign "Youth with traffic culture", the model "Youth self-managed road section"...

Focus on building youth volunteer teams to actively participate in volunteer activities for social security with practical work such as donating to support the "Spring of Love" program, renovating and repairing houses for poor households, giving gifts to help children in difficult circumstances, coordinating to organize free medical examination and treatment... Many major programs and campaigns have been effectively implemented such as the Campaign "Youth living beautifully, living usefully", "Youth volunteering for community life", "Humanitarian blood donation", the program "When the Fatherland needs" associated with "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" according to Directive 03 of the Politburo; the campaign "Youth volunteering for social security and environmental protection"; "Youth establishing themselves, starting a business and getting rich legitimately"...; establishing and maintaining 25 youth clubs based on hobbies, youth volunteers, and youth volunteers; The campaign "border island affection" was promoted, visiting and giving gifts to Keng Du commune, Nam Can - Ky Son with a total cost of 250 million VND...

In the 2014-2019 term, the Youth Union of Hung Nguyen district strives for the following targets: 100% of the Youth Union bases implement programs and campaigns set out by the Youth Union at all levels; The rate of gathering youth members into the organization is 80-82% or more; 100% of youth members are educated and learn the directives and resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, the Association and the State's legal policies; each year attract over 5,000 cadres, members and youth to participate in volunteer activities for the community; coordinate with the Youth Union and related sectors to organize counseling, career guidance, job introduction and transfer of scientific and technological advances to 1,600 to 2,000 youths...

At the congress, the District People's Committee awarded 10 Certificates of Merit to typical and advanced collectives. The congress consulted and elected the Committee of the Youth Union of Hung Nguyen district, term III, 2014 - 2019, consisting of 33 comrades. Comrade Cao Anh Duc - District Party Committee member, Secretary of the District Youth Union was trusted and elected by the congress as Chairman of the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hung Nguyen district, term III, 2014 - 2019; consulted and elected 06 delegates to attend the Congress of Youth Union of Nghe An province.
