During the past term, the association at all levels has made efforts to overcome difficulties, strived to successfully implement the Resolution of the 4th Congress, achieving encouraging results. The campaigns achieved many results such as "Youth live beautifully - live usefully", organized over 850 forums on educating the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, 120 free vocational training classes for over 2,000 students, 292 training classes on transferring science and technology, 208 propaganda sessions on traffic safety and order...; the campaign "Youth volunteer for social security and environmental protection", established the Nghia Dan Young Doctors Club with practical activities, the Warm Winter Fund awarded over 300 gifts worth 95 million VND to disadvantaged and policy beneficiaries. Donated many supplies and money worth nearly 50 million VND to the program "Border - Island Love", organized 4 "Voluntary Blood Donation" sessions, collected 857 units of blood.

The campaign "Youth establish themselves, start a business, and get rich legitimately" has achieved many results with models such as the beekeeping club of Nghia Khanh unit, coordinating with other agencies to organize vocational training for young people, encouraging young people to enthusiastically do business and develop the economy. The programs and activities "When the Fatherland needs", building and developing the Association, expanding the solidarity front to gather young people have many new and creative ways, launching the writing contest "Nghia Dan Youth with the homeland's sea and islands", cultural exchange programs, and practical contributions to specific groups in the area. In addition, political and ideological education and taking care of physical development for young people are also focused on. In addition to the achievements, the report also pointed out the shortcomings and limitations, found the causes and proposed solutions for better implementation in the next term.

With the slogan: "Promoting the strength of youth, solidarity, creativity to build a rich and civilized homeland of Nghia Dan", the Youth Union of Nghia Dan district for the 2014 - 2019 term focuses on implementing the basic targets well: Establishing new, maintaining clubs, teams, promoting efficiency, recruiting from 1,500 - 2,000 new members, the youth gathering rate reaches 80%; building a cow bank with 8-10 cows, building 15 new models of young people with good economic performance, earning over 150 million VND/year; mobilizing 1,000 units of voluntary blood donation; giving away 50 gifts worth about 25 million VND. Every year, undertaking 2 - 3 district-level youth projects; building 5 - 10 wedding models according to the new lifestyle...

The Congress elected the 5th Youth Union Committee consisting of 23 members, with comrade Le Thi Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the District Youth Union elected as Chairwoman. The Congress also elected 7 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates to attend the 5th Provincial Youth Union Congress in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Congress awarded the "For the Young Generation" Medal to two comrades for their contributions to the cause of education, training, nurturing the young generation and building the Youth Union and Association.
