(Baonghean.vn) -After 3 days of urgent and serious work, on the morning of March 14, the 17th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union was a great success.

At the closing session, under the chairmanship of the Presidium, the Congress continued to listen to the delegates' presentations and comments, thereby completing the documents for official promulgation. At the same time, it assigned the Executive Committees of the Trade Unions at all levels in the province to develop specific programs and action plans to successfully implement the approved goals, targets, directions and tasks; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 17th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union.

The Congress highly approved the review report of the 16th Executive Committee; the goals, directions and tasks for the 2013-2018 term. The Congress also discussed and contributed additional opinions to the draft political report and the draft amendment to the charter of the 11th Vietnam Trade Union. The Congress selected and elected the Executive Committee of 45 comrades; the Standing Committee of the 17th Trade Union consisting of 15 comrades and elected 11 comrades to represent 127,000 union members in the province to attend the 11th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.



The Executive Committee of Nghe An Trade Union for the 2013 - 2018 term was introduced to the Congress.

Closing the Congress, on behalf of the Presidium, Comrade Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor proposed: In order for the Congress Resolution to soon come into life, immediately after the Congress, trade unions at all levels need to organize widespread dissemination of the congress results, especially the content of the Congress Resolution among workers and trade union organizations in the whole province; It is necessary to concretize the content of the 17th Congress Resolution to the specific situation of each industry and unit to build action programs at each level and each industry to successfully implement the Congress Resolution; Launch an emulation movement to achieve successful results at the 17th Nghe An Trade Union Congress and welcome the 11th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; Continue to promote the study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, associated with the implementation of the Central Resolution 4 on some urgent issues of Party building today...

Also at the closing session, the Executive Committee of Nghe An Trade Union for the 2013-2018 term was introduced to the Congress and officially took up its duties.
