The Emulation Congress of Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces will be held at the end of November.

(Baonghean.vn) -Today (November 5), Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Provincial Armed Forces Emulation Congress for the period 2009-2012 to prepare contents for the Congress scheduled to be held at the end of November 2012. Comrade Thai Van Hang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

With the motto "Practical, effective, safe, economical, highly combat ready", the Congress has the task of summarizing the emulation and reward work and the emulation movement to win in the armed forces from 2009 to 2012; setting out the direction, goals and tasks of the emulation movement to win from 2012 to 2015. At the same time, commending collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to win of the provincial armed forces in the period 2009 - 2012.

At the Conference, the subcommittees assisting the Congress reported on the results of the preparation work for the Congress. Up to now, the Content Subcommittee has completed the Congress documents, reviewed the presentations and reports of typical advanced models... In particular, the propaganda work will be increased in time by the Central and local press agencies, opening special columns and topics for propaganda before, during and after the Congress. The goal after the emulation congress is to create a new step of development in the emulation and reward work and the emulation movement to win in the provincial armed forces, associated with the implementation of the patriotic emulation campaign and movement of the localities.

Concluding the Conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Hang praised the sectors and sub-committees for promptly taking action and performing well the tasks assigned by the Organizing Committee. He also assigned the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard to promptly issue decisions to establish the Organizing Committees in the two units. The work contents that need to be completed before November 10 include: Draft Congress program, draft members of the Presidium... In particular, the outline of the Political Report and the propaganda outline must be completed before November 15. He requested the Sub-committees to promptly complete the remaining tasks for the Congress to be a great success.
